4-H Cupcake Wars

4-H Participants will compete to create the best cupcake.  Any 4-H'er may submit an application.  Two 4-H'ers in the district will be selected to work as a team at the Kentucky State Fair.

Prizes: A champion team and a reserve champion team will be selected.  At Kentucky State Fair both 1st and 2nd place teams will receive medals.

What will the team do?  Each team will bring all the ingredients necessary to construct their cupcakes.  Each team will present 2 different cupcakes for judging.

What is provided?  Cupcake baking machines, ice (for their cooker-cooler not provided), and all quick-bake/design challenge materials for each team.

What is the catch?  There will be quick bake and cupcake design challenges along the way!

This contest is intended to be fun for the 4-H'ers and allow their creativity and skills to be admired by fairgoers.

Participants that pre-register will receive a 4-H participant pass to enter the event.  Anyone attending with the participant will be charged fair admission at $10.00 per person.  Additionally, if the participant wishes to enter other areas of the fair and/or ride carnival rides he/she must pay fair admission.
