GENERAL RULES:
  1. Limit of one obedience class per dog per person.
  2. Dogs fouling in obedience class rings will receive no higher than a white ribbon.
  3. Obedience classes (novice A and B, Graduate Novice, Open and Utility) will be based upon American Kennel Club Score Sheets (American Kennel Club, 51 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10010).

Sub Novice A-For first year members in the obedience project.  Dog and handler must be in their first year enrollment in the dog obedience project.  Handler may not have qualified with any dog in novice at any show.  (Includes recall, heel, figure 8, sit or stand for exam, long sit (1 minute), long down (2 minutes) done on a leash).

Sub novice B-For dogs that have never qualified in Novice at any recognized trial (i.e., AKC, UKC)  Same Exercises as Sub-Novice A

Graduate Beginner-For dogs that have never qualified in Novice at any recognized trial (i.e., AKC, UKC).  Includes off leash recall, long sit (1 minute), long down (2 minutes), and stand for examination).

Novice A-For dogs or handlers who have not earned a C.D. title (Companion  Dog title awarded by organizations like AKC, UKC, All-American).  (Includes on      leash, heel and figure 8; off leash, stand for exam, heel, recall, long sit-1 minute, long down-3 minutes).  Limit of two years in this class with the same dog and  handler. 

 
Participants (and anyone attending with the participant) will be charged fair admission at $10.00 per person, but will not be charged an entry fee for the trail.  If participants pre-register by no later than Tuesday, May 27th the fair admission fee will be waived for the participant and he/she will only be charged $2.00 per class.  If a pre-registered participant chooses to enter other parts of the fair he/she will be charged the $10.00 admission fee.
