OPEN BEEF CATTLE SHOW

RULES:
  1. Show will be one (1) day duration Saturday, June 11, 2011. Registered and Commercial Beef Cattle Show.
  2. Animals should be on grounds by 8:00 a.m. and judging will start at 9:00 a.m.   Weigh-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
  3. Place: Murray-Calloway County Fairgrounds Market/Show Barn.
  4. Exhibitors shall present health certificates upon entry of animals.
  5. Heifer classes and steer classes are included. No bull classes
  6. Registration papers of animals must be presented to the entry clerk before show.
  7. The show committee reserves the right to make any change deemed necessary. All announcements the day of the show take precedence over all previous announcements.
  8. Premiums offered for the Show – $400.
  9. Entry fee - $3.00 per animal.
  10. Facilities to keep animals overnight are available with prior notification by contacting Ginny Harper at (270) 753-1456.
  11. Classes will be judged by age; classes will be combined if numbers warrant.
  12. Prize money will be awarded for the Grand Champion if 15 head or more are exhibited.

  1. Jr. Calf, born after January 1, 2011.
  2. Sr. Calf, born Sept. 1, 2010 thru Dec. 31, 2010.
  3. Summer Yearling born May 1, 2010 thru Aug. 31, 2010.
  4. Jr. Yearling, born Jan. 1, 2010 thru April 30, 2010.
  5. Sr. Yearling, born Sept. 1, 2009 thru Dec. 31, 2009.
  6. Heifer Champion (no money)
  7. Cow Class (any age)
  8. Cow-Calf Pair (Cow at any age with nursing calf at side)
  9. Weanling Bull (Round Pin Showing Possible)
  10. Yearling Bull (Round Pin Showing Possible)
  11. Grand Champion Breeding Stock

  1. Steer Classes divided by weight (light, medium, and heavy)
